"Children -- HELP Your Parents!"

THE modern world's way is to do everything the exact opposite of what is right, proper and good, it seems.   Nowhere is this more evident than in the way parents are "honored" and the elderly are cared for, and it's time to end this cursed insanity and start receiving the blessings of obedience instead.

OU were born into a world with strange values, all of which seems "normal" simply because you've never known anything other than the society in which you grow up.   There is a better way, believe it or not, that would bring so many blessings to you that you might not be able to believe it.

Remember this, as we explore the differences in the way the world now exits, and the way it could -- and one day soon will -- exist, once people get smart and realize how much we've all been missing going down the wrong road; that wide and self-destructive highway that leads only to ruin in the end.

How You Do Unto Others

How is the modern world so wrong, you might ask, but are you really willing to hear the answer?   Here's a brief explanation of the way children treat their parents in our modern "enlightened" and "advanced" world:

Old age homes are the predominant way in which the elderly are shuffled off this "mortal coil" we call life.   Drugged senseless, heavily sedated, or not, confinement in such facilities -- rarely visited by friends or family -- and watching others their age deteriorate and disappear into the gapping memory hole called death, how would you feel if you found yourself in such a situation?

And how is most of this "tender loving care" usually paid for?   Through such socialist schemes as "Social Security," Medicaid, and Medicare.

What's wrong with that?   Plenty.   Let's start with the fact of who really pays for all this "welfare statism."

We all do is the short answer, in more ways than one.   You were probably told, and thus sold on the idea of such government programs, that "your" social security taxes are like some kind of forced bank account, accruing interest and benefits toward your retirement.   Am I right?

The reality is far more interesting, and sobering.

In point of fact, there is no "social security trust fund," personal account, or anything else remotely resembling this.   There is only another income tax labeled "social security" in the headings of the code, but in the actual text of the law you will find nothing about your supposed retirement nest egg.

Instead, contrary to what the Supreme Court decreed, the entire "Social Security" system is built upon a huge Ponzi pyramid scheme that if you -- or anyone other than the government -- tried this would get you locked up in prison, behind the cold steel bars of "club FED" for the rest of your miserable life!

So just how does this scheme of a "system" actually work?   First, it takes your hard earned money and puts it into the federal government's general fund, where Congress raids it for one pork-barrel scam after another, or takes it to pay the perks and LARGE salaries congress-critters routinely vote themselves nearly every four-year session.

Next, Congress borrows at interest the future of everyone's children and grandchildren, our posterity, with loans against the treasury, to pay for all the socialist programs' current recipients' needs.

And when foreigners get tired of buying and holding increasingly worthless U.S. government bonds and securities, especially as America's population ages and is less able or willing to work and slave to pay for all this "lap of luxury" boondoggle, you or your children and grandchildren can kiss good-bye all hope of anything other than a life of servitude, in a land of growing joblessness, and slave-wages third-world work.

There are no rest homes and retirement villas in this future, only work till you drop drudgery (possibly in a work camp, otherwise called a prison, for some victimless pseudo "crime" flaw violation being concocted continually by out-of-control and increasingly feudal-minded legislatures), all the days of your short, miserable and increasingly impoverished life!

Meanwhile, the elderly who don't understand how all of this is really bankrupting America, fail to realize who is actually paying for their retirement and how, as each new generation slips lower on the economic scale through inflation (in which the government slowly but surely, gradually destroys the value of its own currency, to extract more hidden taxation from the mostly ignorant populace to pay its creditors and, ultimately, the piper).

All of this happens in the vacuum of lost history, in which the passing of those generations which had a far better economy and prospects fails -- mostly due to ignorance -- to hand down to the next generations the knowledge of how low they are sinking into the morass of government-created poverty.

Is There A Better Way?

"Yeah, smart-aleck," you might retort, "so just what do you suggest we should do about it?"

Scripture holds the answers, my friend, and they aren't as undesirable or "archaic" as you might have been led to believe by some fairly misinformed, misled and mistaken religious leaders.

Let's begin with what ought to be the obvious.   Honor your father and your mother, as explained in the article How WORTHY Are You? in issue number three of The PURE TRUTH Restored, is all about helping your own parents when they are no longer able to help themselves.

In this way, those parents who have larger families (and therefore have worked harder providing for their children) would have a better provision stored up toward their retirement years, and would not tend to take for granted or abuse the sacrifices made by their children on their behalf (as many on the government dole often do, without realizing or caring how this burdens and impoverishes so many, so invisibly).

And despite all that "panned parenthood" may have told you, larger families are the best and only way a nation can stay young and vibrant, with a population able to replenish itself rather than diminish with each passing generation, as the aging populations of many European nations are in the process of imploding upon themselves.

In America, of course, the "solution" has always been to invite new immigrants (first, mainly legal, but now even illegals are being "welcomed") -- which also invites many of a more criminal nature, of course, all of whom take full advantage of the apparent perks of living in America -- until this changes the form and shape of our government in even worse ways than it has already morphed over the decades.

But to do this, to encourage children to actually honor their parents by providing for them in their retirement years (and helping them as they approach that inevitable age of decline, by working together to better the entire family's financial prospects), would of course require getting the ever-growing and greedy monkey of government taxation off our collective backs.

Whose Your Mommy and Daddy?

Who really cares for your needs and provides for your economic safety better than close family?   Certainly not faceless and, just as often, irresponsible government bureaucrats.

While there are certain needful governmental programs that are the proper domain of government -- such as safe roadways, postal facilities, and armed forces to protect our own borders (and not interfere in the sovereign governments of other nations, whose only "crime" against us is having natural resources that the thieves running our government might not want to pay for) -- so much of what passes for government welfare today is, and has always been, immoral and deceitful.

Unless we find a way to bring this insanity to a halt, more people will seek to find ways to be beneficiaries of the largesse of a shrinking working class, which can only bankrupt us all in the end.   Either the government deserves your honor and support, for all of its wastrel ways, or your own parents deserve this very real form of honor.

And for those without parents to help, or children to help them (such as widowers, widows and orphans), then and only then should we elect as a society to give a collective helping hand.

Otherwise, those who are able to work should be willing to do so, and able to find the jobs or careers that will not only pay well but will last and be around for the next generations to enjoy.

Who says we have to sell our future on the slave-market known today as "free trade" (How valuable is anything that's free, really?) to lose our competitive advantages and decline as a nation economically just to survive a little longer?

Answer the question "Whose your mommy and daddy?," before you recklessly choose to continue with the cursed and doomed ways of modern society, and then behave according to what scripture reveals as the only and best way to seek, and finally find, the blessings we would all like to see and enjoy in the end.

And we will, but only if you and I are finally willing to obey all the commandments, including the first one with a promise of better times ahead (Ephesians 6:1-3).

As parents, we ought to help relieve our children and posterity of the economic burdens which we all are already suffering, and then -- if you teach them right -- perhaps your children will finally see fit to HELP their parents, in a more direct and responsible manner, and you can then end your life contentedly knowing you have helped leave the world a better place in which to live!
