Do you have Obedience
Intention?
Knowing human nature, and
so-called "reverse psychology" -- as our Creators
doubtless do -- why do you suppose They worded most
of the Ten Commandments in the form of: "You shall
not"?
Could this be because our
caring Creator and Savior wants to prove our hearts
and intentions, because only those whose actual
intent is to obey Him perfectly in
all things will actually strive, or make the
attempt, to obey His commands?
All others -- those whose
intention is not obedience, or is anything or
everything else but obedience -- will
simply allow the perversity of "reverse psychology"
human nature to take its course, and lead them into
every hurtful and harmful spiritual path.
While those who
intend to obey Him will overcome this
inclination to assume the worst of our Creators --
when it is our own perverse thoughts and hearts
that are evil -- by the fervent intent to comply,
agree, submit, respect, follow, acquiesce, perform,
act and behave as obedient children of their
heavenly Father's and Savior's will.
Some people doubtless wonder
why so many must suffer and die, to offer true
salvation to so incredibly few of the billions of
people alive on earth at any given time.
Yet, if these doubters only
knew how it is through this process alone that
exists the only means to develop the character
necessary to deserve actual immortality -- as
spirit-born children, in the first resurrection, of
our Creators Yahveh -- and to be entrusted with the
powers befitting that blessed estate, perhaps they
would relent in their harsh misjudging of things
too wonderful for the mind of carnal mankind to
comprehend or understand.
In this case, it would seem,
the end certainly does justify the means!
And, in any event, who are we
-- so incomplete in knowledge, yet thinking
ourselves wiser than we actually are -- to
second-guess our All-knowing, and supremely
intelligent Creators?
Such doubts are really
nothing more than excuses for continued
disobedience, by self-righteous humanity, which --
like dishonest children -- wants to have its way
without regard to the needs or will of the parent,
whose wisdom and experience -- by comparison -- is
little understood or appreciated by the willful
child.
Only those who actually have
a humble, repentant obedience intention -- and the
help of our Creators' spirit to guide us into all
truth and true paths in life -- are likely to
prevail, and overcome this all-too-human tendency
to disobey, in the end.
