"The Delusion of Prosperity"

MERICANS are arrogant and living in a delusion of their wickedness, assuming they are strong when in reality their weaknesses are becoming apparent to even the least educated of the third world nations (Hosea 7:10).

    They consider themselves doves (peaceful) but like those birds they are easily deceived and senseless (verse 11).

    America's leaders are insolent (verse 16) , their "king" (president) is delighted with the wickedness of the people, and its "princes" (Judges, congressional leaders, big business leaders, law enforcement) are delighted with lies (verse 3).

    The land is full of adultery and pornographic "entertainments" (verse 4), their hearts are full of intrigue and they devour (assassinate) their rulers, all their "kings" (presidents) are replaced, even before their office expires (impeachment), and none of America's leaders call upon our true Creator, despite their pretenses of being religious (verse 7).

    America is filled to overflowing with dangerous, violent thieves, house robbers, and bandits roamimg its streets (verse 1), and an astronomical increase in the population of illegal aliens crossing its mostly unguarded, porous borders.

    Americans fail to realize that all their sins are being recorded and remembered by our Creator in heaven (verse 2).

    In short America (like most of Europe, especially Germany and France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada) is morally as well as physically bankrupt, and Americans continue to think of themselves as "prosperous," even while a growing majority are thrown out of work and are now living on the "government dole," off the backs and hard work of those increasingly few who are still employed, while illegal aliens flood into the country, taking often good paying jobs from Americans, leaving mostly low-wage jobs that barely support those still living at home with, and supported by, their parents!

    America is cryptically alluded to in scriptural prophecy as "the land of Merathaim" (see: Jeremiah 50:21), refering originally to ancient Babylon (verses 24, 29), but by prophetic duality now refers to modern Mystery Babylon, arrogant warmongering America, chief among those in the space race attempt to build a permanent orbiting armed space station (verses 31-32; Jeremiah 51:53).

    The word "merathaim" means: "double or intense bitterness or rebellion" (against Yahveh; see: Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, Hebrew Dictionary listing #4850).

    Increasingly, modern Americans are becoming bitter and rebellious, and their arrogance (at least of those misleading the country as its assumed "duly elected" leaders) seemingly knows no bounds.

    Assumably, since riding into power by hook or crook seems so easy for them, and staying in power regardless how dastardly their deeds, heinous their crimes, or wicked their attitudes, arrogance in the face of the very Creator Himself must seem like child's play to such people.

    As go the leaders, so goes the nation, and signs of increasing arrogance and defiance of the will of the rest of the world, much less the Almighty Sovereign of heaven and earth, apparently has become a growth industry, and threatens to grow worse and more defiant over time.

    In the face of growing poverty as America becomes ever more insolvent by spending itself into world war-debt once again, the rest of the world is forced -- by fear of the consequences should they openly dissent -- to go along with this increasing insanity, while America (and New York City, in particular) enriches itself and multinational corporations (merchants) at their expense.

    To put it in prophetic scriptural terms: "For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.   The kings of the earth have committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries" (Revelation 18:3).

    The other nations have been forced to endure unnatural alliances (the European "Union," NAFTA, GATT, etc.) for the economic prosperity of the few at the expense of everyone else.   And the so-called "world court" and "United" Nations are growing increasingly eager to see their brand of injustice exacted upon errant modern America (Revelation 17:16).

    Ten behind-the-scenes, unelected and nonaligned power brokers will conspire together to make their version of a world government, under a true despotic tyrant (the worst in our old sad world's entire history to date) a brief and cursed reality (verses 12-13), and they will commit the utterly evil crime of attempting to use modern technological weapons of warfare against the returning Savior Himself, whom they see as an alien outsider and interloper, not to mention "traitor" to their internationalist "paradise" (verse 14).

    And those then living on the earth will, apparently, unite together in this wicked rebellion against our heavenly Creator who is King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns, intent on worshipping their "mighty one" of weapons of mass destruction instead (Revelation 13:3-4, 8).

    As the rich get more craven, bold and insane, the rest of us are increasingly impoverished and enslaved to the government monolith of socialist and "homeland" insecurity.

    National and international debts are mounting to high heaven, with the stench of growing oppression their chief odor, while our just and benelovent Creator takes note and keeps a record of all who are being harmed by this evil situation and of those guilty of turning away from those in need and crying out to Him for salvation from these destructive, greedy and rapacious, beastial miscreants responsible for so much trouble, war and economic turmoil in the world.

    Future, yet unborn generations are being slowly but surely enslaved by irresponsible legislators, and their only salvation will be a returning Savior who will set the unjustly incarcerated prisoners free and set up a righteous and truly just Kingdom on earth to replace that developing international monstrosity and creation of the adversary and his children.

    We have utterly failed to learn from the mistakes of past generations, and therefore are doomed to suffer the same end they all in their turn met, as our all-wise and caring Creator brought upon their heads (as He will visit upon all modern nations) the folly of their foolish and sinful ways.   In the meanwhile, the entire world -- as it has since creation -- continues to groan in the birthpangs of bringing forth a just Kingdom upon this earth, and a deserving and righteous people to inherit it.

    Until that time the delusion of prosperity will remain America's major export to the world, and wewill all be the worse for having lived in these increasingly desparate and deluded age, mesmerized by the siren call of all the media and political liars and villians posing as our leaders and benefactors.
