Revelation 9:1-2, 11

1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to earth.   The star was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit.

2 When he opened the bottomless pit, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace.   The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the bottomless pit....

11 They had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Ibreya is Abaddovan [meaning: "to wander away and perish," see: Strong's Concordance Hebrew Dictionary listing #'s 6 and 11], and in Greek, Apollyon [i.e. "destroyer," or satan, the devil; see: Strong's Greek Dictionary listing #623].
